5 quick and easy tasks to give your website a spring clean

We’re all busy and refreshing your website is likely not to be at the top of your to-do list.  But if you haven’t given your site any attention recently it’s a good idea to give it a bit of TLC.

This whole list will only take about 15 minutes.  So stick the kettle on, get a cuppa, and let’s get crackin’.

1. Make sure your content is up-to-date

If you’re really tight on time prioritise the most important things:

  • Contact details
  • Pricing
  • Offerings and services
  • And then anything that is important for your business

2. Fill in your own contact form

Make sure it is working and see what happens from your potential client’s point of view.  Does the thank you message or page need updating?

3. Update any software and plug-ins, that haven’t been updated automatically

It’ll make your site more secure and make your website visitors’ experience so much better.

4. Check for any broken links

BONUS TASK. Look at it on a mobile

About 50% of us look at websites on our mobiles.  First, make sure of is that you can read everything ok.  Then next, make sure you can click the buttons and fill in the forms.

And that’s it!
