Here’s why people choose to work with me
I’m rubbish at singing my own praises, so I’ll let my clients do the talking
When you’re comparing designers, it can be hard to know who’s the right fit. You’ve probably seen the same promises everywhere.
I’m not great at the whole self-promotion thing, so instead of me telling you why I’m brilliant, here’s what my clients say about working with me.

01. I actually listen (which shouldn’t be revolutionary, but apparently it is)
Here’s what Kate told me after working with THREE other website companies:
Before I found Jules, I had worked with three different website companies who didn’t really listen to what I wanted or the way I wanted my website to work. Jules is totally different – it was such a refreshing change to work with someone who actually listened to what I wanted.
My first call isn’t a sales pitch. It’s me being professionally nosy about what makes you tick and what keeps your ideal clients up at 2am. No sales pressure, just genuine curiosity about your business.

02. I won’t make you feel daft about the techy stuff
I know how nerve-wracking it can be when you think you might sound silly asking about technical things. I remember what it was like to not know this stuff, so I’ll never make you feel awkward for asking questions.
“I was concerned about my lack of tech knowledge – that Jules would use terms I don’t know and I’d be embarrassed to say. This worry didn’t come true – Jules has a great knack of explaining a term or bit of kit without it feeling in any way patronising. I feel she can remember what it was like to not know!”
Because the thing is, I DO remember what it was like to not know. And I’ll never make you feel daft for asking questions.
03. You get a collaborator, not just a contractor
This isn’t a “send brief, wait three weeks, get website” situation. When we work together, you’re getting someone who’s genuinely invested in your success.
I knew from the moment we spoke that I could trust Jules with my vision. She will go the extra mile for her clients. I felt like I made a friend.

You’re not hiring a website builder. You’re gaining a business ally who happens to be brilliant with websites.
Feeling that Jules was part of my team, really interested and engaged in my project, and the feeling we were working on a collaboration was great, rather than just paying someone to do a task for a fee.

04. You’ll get some business clarity too
This bit often surprises people (it surprised me at first, to be honest). While we’re sorting out your website, clients often find themselves reconnecting with why they started their business in the first place.
What I loved most was the time to think about my business, what it can offer, what it means to me and what we have achieved over the years. I hadn’t thought this would be part of the process Jules would guide me through and I found it incredibly affirming and uplifting.

05. I’m creative & technical
I come across quite a few websites that are one or the other. Pretty designs that don’t work properly? Or functional sites that look a bit… well, functional.
I genuinely enjoy both sides – making things look lovely and getting excited about solving the fiddly tech bits that make everything run smoothly.
What makes Jules exceptional, is her ability and determination to solve the technical issues and get the processes up and running smoothly.
LEADERSHIP COACH
Jules is my IT guru. She’s great at finding cheeky work arounds.

06. You’ll actually know what’s happening with your project – in fact, you’re part of it
This is a proper collaboration. We’ll have regular check-ins, I’ll ask annoying amounts of questions, and you’ll be involved in decisions that matter. Not because I can’t make decisions myself, but because it’s your business and you should have a say in how it’s represented.
The “story archaeology” bit happens because we’re working together to uncover what makes your business special – not me disappearing to make assumptions about what you need.
Jules has done a wonderful job, finding what makes me tick and realising that vision in a website.

The result? Your website does the selling for you
No more exhausting sales calls where you explain yourself from scratch. No more cringing when you share your website link. Your website becomes like having a brilliant salesperson working 24/7, except they never call in sick or ask for a raise.
When your website tells your story properly, potential clients arrive already thinking “finally, someone who gets it” instead of “meh, another [insert your industry here].”
- Still wondering if I’m the right fit? That’s completely understandable. Here’s what Fiona would probably tell you:
Jules really knows her stuff, and is a joy to work with! Joyful, exciting, professional experience.
And honestly? Life’s too short for stressful website projects!
